Blake Shelton to join ESPN's College GameDay as guest host
Blake Shelton is set to join ESPN's College GameDay as a guest host on Sept. 10, 2023, when the show broadcasts from Austin, Texas, ahead of the Texas-Alabama matchup.
Shelton, a longtime fan of college football, said he is “fired up” to be a part of the show.
"I'm a huge college football fan, and I've always loved watching College GameDay," Shelton said. "I can't wait to be a part of the show and help get the fans excited for the big game."
Shelton is a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals
Shelton is a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, and he often attends games at Busch Stadium.
In 2019, Shelton performed the national anthem before Game 4 of the National League Division Series between the Cardinals and the Atlanta Braves.
Shelton also has a song called "God Gave Me You" that has become a popular anthem for Cardinals fans.
Shelton is married to Gwen Stefani
Shelton is married to Gwen Stefani, and the couple has two sons together.
Shelton and Stefani met in 2014 when they were both coaches on the NBC singing competition show "The Voice."
The couple married in July 2021.
